The Lucky 39 and the tomb challenge

I was already mostly finished with the Lucky 39 before release, but I spent some time getting that cleaned up and finished as well as implementing the tomb challenge area. These are two small areas that are meant to give you access to crafting materials if you want more than the single one of each that are in the main game. Any future crafting mats will be added to either of those locations based on how powerful the items you get back out of them are.

The Lucky 39 is based on the game corner from Pokemon. It has a pretty easy to pick up dice game as well as a few of the less powerful crafting mats to earn from your winnings. If you played Red and Blue then you know the "correct" way to get those prizes.

The other area is the tomb challenge. Observant players will have noticed that there's a pyramid off to the right of the Endless Sands, but you couldn't actually get inside of it. That is the resting place of the various rulers of the area now called the Endless Sands. If you complete Mira's companion quest then you'll find a representative from that tomb waiting for you in your base. Speak to her and you'll be granted access to the tomb and once you enter you'll get a short cutscene involving Mira and the first of the area's rulers. After that you can run through one of three randomly chosen levels for a bunch of Silver as well as 10 of the currency you need for the more expensive crafting mats, sold by the woman on the left of the audience chamber. Along with those mats you can also pick up an accessory that will increase the amount of direct Silver that any enemies that drop direct Silver instead of vendor trash drop. (Coincidentally all enemies in this area drop direct Silver instead of vendor trash) You can also speak to the woman off to the right of the audience chamber to be fully healed so you don't need to constantly leave and come back.

The one thing that you won't be able to farm there is experience. All the enemies only award a small amount as this isn't meant to be somewhere you grind out levels. The game is only really meant to cap out around 50 in the base game and around 60 after all the content drops are done. Maybe a little higher or a little lower, I obviously haven't implemented it all yet so I don't know for sure where it'll end up but that's my target level. You can get to 99 if you really want to by grinding a bunch in various areas, however I don't want to go that far away from the 50 range.

Both of these will be coming with the next content drop. Now that they're done and implemented I'll be pushing forward with the actual main part of the 2.0 update.

Project Wrap Up

The final release has been out for the game for a couple weeks now. I haven't received any feedback, bug reports, or questions on it, so I figured now would be a good time to wrap this project up and
